ID This Axle?
Can anyone tell me what type of axle I have?
On the side it says 0299(It looked it was a little muddy but I dusted the mud off). And on a tag bolted on it had 551021825 Looked like there should have been a 3 and a S infront of the 55, since I have 3:55 gearing

Should be a Ford/Sterling/Visteon 10.25" full-float. You may want to look carefully at that 'S'. If you have a rear limited slip diff in that truck the tag should read 3L55. If it's open, it should read 3 55.
