Hello and a question
Hi,
I'm new to the group, but not to the best trucks in the world. I had a Ranger that I loved, but through no fault of my own, it was lost to me (#@!*). So I started kind of looking for another truck and considered a newer model. Then I thought, why not a classic to fix up? Well, it all fell into my lap. I just bought a sweet 1961 F100 that is in great shape. I should have a great looking ride with a minimum amount of work.
Anyway, here's the questions. We are doing a complete rebuild on the engine and I want to get the paint colors for it correct and authentic. Do you have the specs for the colors or where I can find them? I have ordered a couple of books from Amazon on restoring Ford trucks so it might be in those, but thought this forum might be faster.
