My connection at the paint supply store has a black epoxy sealer/primer. I am going to paint my frame with it after it comes back from the blasters...I guess I gotta get it there first..I dont know the price as I get the buddy discount

Hey, Glack - Can you get a product name for us? The "sealer" part of that stuff is very interesting. My painter friend told me that all primers (epoxy included) are porous and won't ultimately prevent rust. Will this stuff?
I figure to be messing with my body work for a while and need to identify what will protect it until all is done and final paint can be applied.

i'm really leanin toward flat black everyone! that or gloss with nice fat flames that fade from white to yellow orange then to red at the tip......ohhhh so nice

i dont know about the flames but you cant go wrong with flat black

Got some info on the Sealer/Primer

It is called Transtar 6141 and is about 60 per gallon and another 45 or so for the catalyst/hardner
