Ball Joint Press
Does anyone know if Autozone has a ball-joint press in their "Loan-a-tool" supply? My joints are starting to pop so I'm getting prepped to do the job myself. It was much easier on my '77 Toyota. They just bolted on. It seems I can buy a press on eBay for about $60 with shipping, but if Autozone has it that would be a much better choice.

Thanks for the information. Speaking of Autozone and their Loan-a-tool program...can anyone explain to me how they make their money off of that deal? Lets say you rent a tool for $50. When you bring it back to them, they give you your $50 back. How in the heck do they profit from this?

If you knew how much Autozone paid for advertising, it would be easy to understand how they could loan out tools like that. The goal is getting the people into the store, and Loan-A-Tool does that.
