fender welt
My 48 1/2 ton doesn't have any of this material where fender meets side of bed. Or maybe there is some but with no exposed bead. Originally from factory was there welt or did someone before me remove fenders and forget about it on the reinstall? Terry

TP - I believe that the fender welting was on all models from the factory. Somebody just didn't put it back. If it wasn't a stock item, it can be easily added.

The front fenders on my '52 has anti-squeak (1" wide fabric, without the bead), the rear fenders have welting (rubber or vinyl, with the bead). ...Terry
