I remember the Montana years. Man that was nice being that close. To bad we couldnt close the door on that game.

Hopefully we can keep our offense in tact and get a few defensive players for next year. AT least we will have an easy schedule again. A win is a win even if it is against a losing team. Just ask the Chargers and Broncos. They sure havent minded beating us this year.

Still a fan and always will be though.

Right on man, I get sick of "fair-weather" fans. I do miss Montana, those were the days....

Ah, who cares about the K.C. Griefs anyway. They give you an excuse to go eat at Arthur Bryants after the game!!!!!

Ate there after many K.C. Athletic games growing up.

I also hate fair weather fans but we sure have a lot of them around here. Everyones true colors come out now. I still fly my chiefs flag on the car and still blow up the chiefs guy in the front lawn. Heck check out my gallery for my custom chiefs emblems. Gotta love em especially the front grill one.

I love the Kc Chiefs. Don't eat at Arthur Bryants after though. Usually start up the grill in the parking lot after the game and cook a few more burgers.

Growing up following John Elway there was no way I was ever going to root for the Chiefs. MY best friend is a die hard Chiefs fan and has been for 20+ years. Why? I'll never know but to this very day my team is still the Denver Bronocs. It was quite painful to watch them get spanked yesterday to say the least.

3 game winning streak. Oh well, there goes the low draft pick.

If there is any team that is fun to watch the Chiefs absolutely stomp, the Donkeys are it (the 'Aiders a close second). Hall has 2 runbacks this year (should have had a third, but fumbled inexpicably), but the opening kickoff! A dart to the heart! Larry Johnson is looking good, and keeping his mouth shut better than after the Monday nite game. He was starting to act like "Leon" from the beer commercial fame (There's no I in team - "Ain't no 'we' either").

Now to smack down the 'Aiders on Christmas...

Ouch...at least you're not a North Jersey Giants fan I'll give it to you, Rothlesburger is a good QB...but the important thing to remember is ROOKIE. He hasn't gotten the hits yet, and Bettis is what, 3 years away from an AARP membership? Sorry for hijacking to the Chiefs thread guys.

BTW...T.O. out until the superbowl (God willing), screw in the ankle. Can work without him, but he certainly helped things along. Gonna be a loooooong month.

GO BIRDS

Bringing Montana in was the worst thing the Chefs did in the 90's. They where already winning but just hadn't put the total package togather, yet. Peterson was quoted as saying Montana may have slipped from his prime but they needed him to fill the stadium. Dumbest thing he ever said (in public). The Chiefs where packing the stadium with an arena league reject (DeBerg) because they where winning, their season was sold out usually on the 2nd day tickets where available. With the adoption of the "West Coast Offense" they where supposed to score more points, especially with the quarterback that helped create it. Instead they only scored three more touch downs two seasons in a row while their time of possession per game dropped by 4 minutes. Only thing that saved them from flopping like they did this season was Marcus Allen.

Brought in Montana and threw away Okoya and Word, and lost half the offensive package before the first game. Best move they could make now is to FIRE CARL PETERSON then let Gunther Cunningham build a decent defense in the off season.

I believe some humble pie is on the menu. If anyone wants a slice just let me know.

I agree that the Chiefs are a fun tem to watch. I won't change the channel when they play. The Broncos' loss last week still leaves em with my head shaking. Oh well . . . they really need to get rid of Plummer. I think it's a given that he'll throw three interceptions per game. Not too much of a fan of Champ Bailey either. Funny, I still like this team.
