well i got my daystor leveling kit in and the jack-it sent the wrong instructions with it i read some post and got the coil spring assembly off and had to problems that led to not getting it on the bolts on the top of the assembly are pressed on and even a 20lbs sledge wouldn't get them off and the top part of the kit the biggests one won't fit in the housing of the spring so if it goes there how does it fit if not where does it go i got the instructions for a 03 expedition but jack-it swears i have the right parts i have 1300 dollars of rims and tire setting at a shop that they won't give me unless i turn over my stock tires and they won't take them with many more miles on them so it's pretty important i get in on
If you have the wrong instructions and the PArts don't seem to fit, what makes you think that you have the right kit! Just because some is telling you it should fit, isn't going to make it fit!
well there is a # stamped on the parts them selves and they match what u should have says jack-it it's actually different to whats on the wrong instructions.
I know this may be a little late, but to get the bolts out of the top of the strut you need a vise. Constant pressure on the top of the bolt will press it out of the strut cap. The instructions that came with my kit were not very detailed but I would not say they were wrong. You may want to make sure you got the right kit. The people at Jack-it were helpful to me when I had shipping issues. I am sure they will be willing to help you with this.
