2bbl to 4bbl linkage coversion
i wanted to know what type of accelerator linkage you went to when you went to a aftermarket 4bbl carb i know the stock ones snap onto the carb but the holley i bought just has different holes drilled this is in a 75 with a 390

You can get the "ball socket" with threads on the end so you can bolt it in one of those holes on your new holley. I got a couple from the scrap yard, and I think you can get these at a Napa store as well. -Ed

Ford390gas hog, I had a 75 model truck for a while that had a 390. I bought a Holley 600 for it. That carberator had the holes like what you describe. I had to buy a ball stud at the auto parts store that went through one of the holes to hook it up. Let me know if you have any more questions. I still have the carb and I have a digital camera. I can get pictures if you need them.
