KeyPad Key gets "stuck"
on my 2003 Expedition I have drained the battery twice. I finally figured out that the root cause is one of the keys on my keppads (last one, not that it matters) gets stuck or caught underneath the plastic frame. my theory is that the key being stuck is what causes the battery to drain. anyone ever hear of this? thanks.

Well, that it's possible because the keyless system module is going to sleep mode every time the vehicle is turned off, in this mode this module consume less than 1ma current, keeping the battery always healthy. If one key is being stuck, then the keyless system never sleeps and it keeps consuming up to 100ma even if the vehicle is turned off, this situation in the long run can cause the battery to drain.
