got my tools stolen
our shop got broken in to sat night stole all my tools mostly snap-on and craftsman plus my tool boxes ,arc welder ,floor jack, snap-on scanner. this is what i try and support my family with. We just took over this business and did not have insurance yet! So I'm screwed'.sherrif dept said there had been some thefts in the area lately so maybe the'll catch the idiots that did this . they took every thing they touched as not to leave prints. o-well I'm done.

Be sure to check the local pawn shops every few days...don't say anything till you see your tools!! try to peek where they store the stuff on the back selves.if you do spot it...go outside and quietly call the detective that is working the case or the officer who took the report...sorry about your loss ihope you find your stuff.....and also be sure you check with police every two weeks to see if they found your stuff.....sometimes they forget to call you when they recover it....
p.s. now find outif your freinds can help you out by loaning some tools till you can replace them....

sorry dude, i work at a tool place parttime and customers come in all the time for replacements because of that. one customer had his locked up in one of those truck toolboxes and they ripped that entire thing off the back of his truck.
its not the guys that owned the place before? im not trying to start anything but they are the ones that knows that place and whats there.

That would suck I dont want to know how that feels because I need my tools for school and in the future for work. Hang in there I know tools are not cheap. I would check pawn shops and keep calling the detective to see if they have any leads. Im sure some one will help you for now.

Content Deleted by FTE I had to go buy a gun safe last week cause a guy up the road got ripped off while everyone was at work, I decided they'd have to work very hard for mine. Hope you find your stuff man, I haven't had anything stolen from me yet, knock on wood.

There's nothing worse than a low life thief that steals the tools you make a living with. I'm on my way to the prosacuting attorney this morning to see about charges against a thief. But my lose is small compared to yours. Hope you get your tools back.

Sorry to hear about what happened, it's a shame what some people will do. Last year my neighbor had someone break into his garage and take all his power tools. Next day the guy was dumb enough to come back for more, luckly we cornered him in until the police got there.

Sorry to hear about your stolen tools. Had two baskets in the bed of my truck. My cap don't lock. A few weeks ago the stuff was gone. Heres what they got with the baskets...some old tee shirt rags, paper towels, a cheap mini air compressor, pr. old vicegrips, s.o.s pads and some rope. What is this world coming to?
