drive train question

how can a tell what kind of drive axels i have in my 78 f150 4x4 is there markings somewhere on the axels. i cant gather the info from the doors because the truck doesnt have the original doors and the other palte has been painted over
any help is appreciated

look on the axle itself, under all the grease and grime there should be a tag somewhere.
