I have used Stanadyne Performance Formula on every fill up including the first tank that the dealer filled up. Highly recommend it. And, yes, it is a stabilizer too.

Guys thanks allot...I ordered a case and it is on the way!

One more question, how much do you mix per tank, is a funnel needed and what do you use to carry the stuff around in? I imagine it is probably pretty volatile stuff and I doubt I want it getting inside my truck.

It has directions on the bottle. But anyway if you got a case of the pints (16oz bottles) than you mix 8 oz per 30 gallons of fuel or the whole 16oz bottle with 60 gallons of fuel. And of course you can half it if you were going to only add 15 gallons or something like that. Also make sure you add the additive before you fill up.The bottles have a measurment thing on the side. And no I dont use a funnel and what I do is keep the additive in a big zip lock baggy with a paper towel in the side comparment of my drivers side suicide door (in other words the back door) that way I will never forget it when filling up.

I got one of those funnels with the markings on it for ounces. It has a twist on/off valve at the bottom of the funnel with a nice length of tubing. That way I can measure in more exact amounts. When I am in a hurry, I just pour in like I do for beer in my barbeque sauce.

I don't think it is that volatile. It does smell better than diesel. Hmmm, another scent to add to my manly colognes along with diesel, Hoppe's #9, WD-40, etc.
