driving position off center??

Not a big complaint but... Anyone feel the steering wheel is off center to the left when sitting center in the seat???? Just something I noticed that I can get used to. This is in my 2001 leather seats.

Weird, I think mine is like that also; a little off to the left. I just keep trying to blame it on the North Dakota winds. I'm about due for an alignment, hopefully that's it.

Shad,

Do you mean the streering wheel & column are a bit to the left of the driver's seat center position or that the wheel is turned to the left when driving straight?

Yep, I ment the steering wheel is to the left of the driving position in the seat. I noticed If I do not pay attention while driving I end up sitting on the left edge of the seat.

I feel just the opposite. I just noticed that I sit closer to the center console than in the middle of the seat. I have consciously tried to sit in the middle of the seat, but the steering wheel seems like it's off to the right.

it comes down to which arm rest you feel comfortable leaning against. if you drive someone elses truck that leans the opposite way you do it feels like the seat is lop-sided and hard to get comfortable.

I have a 2001 with leather seats also. The steering wheel seems to be off to the left of the seat. Does anyone know of a way to adjust the seat so it faces the wheel? Just a slight twist to the left would feel better. Can this be done?

I think I am starting to get used to it. This truck is like driving a love seat down the road compared to my suburban.

Sounds to me like Shad's going a little Postal on us! LOL!

You could always go overseas...maybe you'd feel more comfortable there!

i noticed the fealing but assumed the seat was not angled to the middle of the truck. i recall the same fealing in my old mustang the seat was pointed so you sit facing the center of the hood. i sort of feal the seat need to be moved twisted right. but like the other posts it is all subjective. make you want to scrach your head Hmmmm..

I just noticed the same thing after a long road trip this past weekend. I found myself sitting to the left side of the seat. We also have leather seats.

The wife drives the EX so this was the first time I got to seat behind the wheel for a long period.
