Preditor will not load after new Flash
Had my PCM flashed as per SSM 17048 from old cal 3u7aftc to new cal 3u7afte and now it will not allow preditor upload a tune, just give's a error message. Just wanted you all to be aware of this till I getted it sorted out with Diablo.

It appears that the new flash from Ford is not compatible with the Diablo at this time. The files involved are VXAN04.HEX for the engine and TQAT0N7.HEX for the transmission. I guess I wait till I hear back from them.

I had a flash done on 10/18. Invoice shows states FICM,PCM,TCM--B33.8P3-- I just ordered a Predator on Friday. I hope it will work,, I've been wanting to get one for a few months now and I finally do it and watch it not work. Katoum, do you know what flash you have in you truck?

yes. my truck is a 1/21/04 build date and this is the 2nd flash its had since I bought it in March. Not sure how many actual update have been out since Dec 03 but I would say atleast 2. I just hope the latest one I got is older then what Katoum has. I really want to load my Predator when it arrives,, Getting Exhaust done on Wed. Gauges will be next project,,

here is what I received from Diablo about this,, not much other then if it won't work they will have a update soon to fix it.

Dear Matt ,
Make sure that the predator is on the most current revision (r34f). If your tool
does not work, an update will be out shortly to fix the issue.

Flashes for 03 and 04s are different. Katoum, from what you posted it looks like your engine is an 03. The flash you mention would be newer than the Dec 03 flash. Over on the flat rate tech forum there is no confirmation but rumblings there is a newer flash for the 03s. Your information seems to lend credibility to the flash rumors. How does your truck run? How is the mileage, better?
