Identification needed!

I have a truck cab that I need to identify. I have an identification number off of the body, that was stamped into a piece of metal and attached to the firewall of what seems to be a 1930s-1940s model pickup truck. I dont know who manufactured it. The truck has suicide doors and I cannot find any information on the web....guess I'm just not looking in the right places. Any suggestions?

Perhaps a Dodge cab. In '33-'35 Dodge trucks had suicide doors. Old Ford truck didn't have suicides, and I don't believe Chevrolet did either. Do a search for 1933 Dodge trucks online, should be able to find a picture of one, hopefully it'll help ID the cab. Also, check out http://www.oldtrucks.com
