Swapping frames 29'p/u on 33'p/u yes or no
I don't know the measurements on either one. I just don't want to put too much into one frame that the other already has for the most part. The 29' frame is in good shape, but will take more work than the 33' frame. The 33' frame is built better, but I have a 29' cab w/ wood kit installed. I plan to channel cab and go the rat rod route w/ it.
thank you

I truely don't think it would matter which frame you used. If you channeled the thing the frame may stick out of the cowl a bit with either frame, but then again there may not be a problem at all. As far as the wood kit goes, it seems to me that if you channeled the cab the wood kit would need to be modified either way.
Anyways, good luck and keep us posted!

Very doubtful this will work. The 28 - 31 Model A frames were all the same
size, but the width changed in 32 on the pass. cars, and I believe the p-ups
as well. Measure the width of the frame rails at the cowl location and you
should find the 33 is 2-3" wider. As I recall, the length (wheelbase at least)
is slightly longer, too.
If going the street rod route, the Model A frame must be beefed considerably;
at the very least, the rails must be fully boxed. If not in real good cond.,
suggest going w/ a reinforced aftermarket unit.
Suggest you ask Yetiboy from the original post; perhaps he could measure
the length of his 33 frame for you. It will be the same dimensions as a 34.
