Our First meet

Well i guess the time has come for those that can, to have our first meet. Anyway since it seems that i've been choosen as our chapter leader (still waiting for an offical word of sorts on this) I would like to get a bunch together for a meet of sorts, nothing to big more of a get together than anything else to discuss this chapter, fords, and other things. The first thing is that i will be traveling up to edmonton in 2 weeks to take care of some university business, and i thought that this would be the perfect time to take advantage of having a get together. So i am thinking of the 13 of november (a saturday) to have this meet, and i believe it would be best to have this meet in Red Deer area(middle of calgary and edmonton) because of its center to those that would come.

So now all that is needed is a time and place to have this get together, remember that this not a car show or something, just a get together, but of course bring your Fords. So those that can come or want to please let me know by posting, and if you are in Red Deer or know your way around (somewhere easy to get to preferable close to the number 2, or someother place in the proxsimity) name a good place to have this at. Places that would be good would be a decent coffee shop, someones home if they are willing, and you get the idea.

Everyone, please respond as these 2 weeks will come and go in a hurry.

Another thought would be a barbeque as well, someone could bring the burgers, another could bring the beverages, and so on. Anyone up for this as well?

Don't meet that Mr. Mil1ion guy! He is crazy! He talks a lot about stuff that will keep you interested, for what seems like years!

If anyone can get the chance to meet Dennis, take it! He's a great guy and you will laugh your butt off and some of his stories.

Good luck on your meet guys!

I hope you all enjoyed your get together, sorry I didn't respond earlier, I have been away hunting & haven't visited the site in a couple weeks, I will be making a run to Edmonton a little later this month... not sure of a date yet.

And it also comes in handy when i want to be annoying while cruising , it really ticks off them ricers with those fart cans .

But i may have some bad news, found out that my parents may be coming up with me, and because of this i might not be able to make the saturday arrangement cause my mom doesn't get off work till 3, but if it snows or rains enough tomorrow i should be able to make a saturday meet dennis, if not tuesday-wednesday on my way home could work as well.
I will updatee as soon as i find out Dennis.

Well its a quarter to 1, and i just got off the combine after it broke the hex shaft that drives the spreaders and pluged the combine solid front to back (stalled the it when this happened), and we only have about an hour or two (we spent an hour fixing what we could) till we finsihed. But that life, anyway i think that wednesday morning i will be heading home and can stop in, I will know for sure tomorrow. ( we might leave sunday morning as well.

Hello Mustang 70.
I'm new to this forum and not even sure if you will see this. I would like to join you and others in a get together, but Nov 13th being my wife's birthday, I think it wise to wait for the next time. Hope you try for another meeting, and that this one is a success.
Don
