I recently bought my 04 F250 CC 4x4 6.0 PSD. Love the truck! I recently put a 4" Procomp lift on it and noticed that the trucks sits a bit high in front a bit over 1". The reason I ask is that the "rake" on these trucks is usually a bit high on the rear. I'm hearing talk about 2 1/2" frontside lifts to level it out. I know that new front springs, rear blocks & shocks were installed, along will Procomp tires w/MT wheels. Does anyone have an idea as to the reason? Block isn't big enough?
There are a couple of things. Sometimes the front does settle some. which will bring the front down a bit. Personally I don't like th rake from front to back, I prefer a slight back to front rake. When I installed my 8" kit, I added a 1.5" block in addation to the springs and factory block to give me that addational rake. The set of blocks were $35 at 4wheel parts. I believe you may be able to get a 1" set of blocks. And if you are lucky, the Ubolts will work. Ensure you have enought threads protruding when tight. You may want to go ahead and pick up another set to be on the safe side.

Most of your lift kits are designed for off road use the nose of truck is designed to be a tad higher because of approch angles so the front bumper don't dig in. All serious off road vehicles are all nose high. check out rock crawlers, baha racers, none rake to the front.

Dollars to doughnuts, I bet the majority of the people in the superduty forum don't off road their $40,000 + truck hard enough to worry about aproach and departure angles. Besides, departure angles are normally less anyway. I also bet you that when the major lift manufacturers designed their lifts, they wern't looking for any rake what-so-ever, front or back. How many superduty based rock crawlers and baha racers do you know that push their trucks that hard. I may be able to count them on one hand.

DID NOT SPECIFY SUPERDUTIES......... WHY DO THEY OFFER KITS JUST TO GET RID OF THE FACTORY RAKE?

A bit testie are we. What is with all the yelling.
That's just it, they offer leveling kits to get rid of the factory rake. They are not ment for the nose to be higher than the tail. So again, the question still stands. Why is the nose higher than the tail?
I measured the blocks in the rear and have a question regarding that...
Coming off the axle there is a mount for the block, this is 1" thick, The block sits on this and is 3" thick, so do you measure from the axle itself or just the block?
I've got the same lift. I got mine used. It came with 2" blocks and an add a leaf for the rear end. I'm told the leaf is 2 1/2". I got a 4" block from Ford and left the leaf out. My SD sits about a half to quarter inch lower in the rear. I fine with it this way. I "guess" one day I could add the leaf and use the 2" blocks.

Lighten up.
and yeah- these kits are designed to make the superduties level.
Logandm-
The easiest way is probably just take it back to the store that did it and tell them to fix it. If you did the install yourself, ask the people you ordered the lift from why they sent you the wrong rear parts.
