tires and speedometer

i have just bought new tires for my 98 f 150. the dealer told me they were a factory authorized tire for my truck, however they are much taller and have thrown my speedometer and odometer off. any ideas how i can correct this?

Have the dealer reset the odometer. It's all computerized now so I guess they just punch in the appropriate codes for gearing and tire diameter.
