Fuel sender ground locations

Does anyone know where the ground for the fuel senders are on and 87 F150 are? Guage bounces around for both tanks so I'd like to try to clean up the grounds and make sure they have a good contact. Just hoping the sending units are ok.

Thanks guys,
Lloyd

Trying to remember - last one I was in was a Jeep, but I think it's on the fuel module top plate on top of the tank; there may be an inline connector on the way to the front.

Sorry for bum dope - checked books and ground is returned to dash area; there is an inline connector at fr/rr tanks with orange and black leads. Orange is pwr to gauge sender and black is ground from a common ground at dash area; both tanks have same color coding. Gauge sender should read between 22 empty and 150 ohms full readin across orange /blk leads.
