okay today i went out duck hunting and i was sittin in my blind and all the sudden i hear a truck honking it's horn, and i knew i was the only truck there so i figured it must've been my truck alarm, so i go up to it and sure enuff it starts honking again. it's been honking all day long for no reason! i had to unplug the battery just to get it to stop! what can i do? can i fix it or do i have to get it removed and if it gets removed will i still have keyless entry??
94 ranger auto matic, lumbar seats, power everything, stock car alarm.
thanks
Ditto on my '97 XLT. The alarm goes off randomly. I'll deactivate the alarm and then immediately hit the remote "lock" button twice. I only get one honk of the horn which indicates that there are no partially ajar doors. However, the alarm still goes off randomly.
The only way I can keep it from happening is to lock the doors manually. Ugh. Anyone know what the TSB is?
