Mitchells on Demand
does anybody know anything about the computer program Mitchells on Demand? like the system requirments to run it? the guy im gonna have work on my truck needs a computer to run this program, and i may be able to build him one to trade for his labor costs.
any info would be appreciated,

It doesn't say anything about system requirements, but does say it's a 32 bit application and requires DVD.
Not much info, but it's a place to start.

The old non-DVD ones would run on a 486-100, but the new ones take a lot more. Look for 64megs of ram, 1ghz hard drive, an AMD K6-2 450+, and a 32meg video card. Pretty much what it takes to run the DVD drive. Of course, nearly all these parts can be had used and dirt cheap nowadays. And always go with an AMD. They are the Ford of the computer world. Intel's P-series is like Chebby, and the Celerons are AMC.
