Funny Bolts

What kind of socket do I need to get at SEARS to remove the funny headed bolts at the rearend side of driveshaft to check u-joints?

i THINK WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT IS THE 12MM 12PT BOLTS. I DON'T THINK A SOCKET WILL FIT ON THERE SO I HAVE ALWAYS USED A WRENCH. IF YOU CAN GET A SOCKET ON IT, JUST A REGULAR 12 PT WILL DO YOU.

Yep, they're metric, that one got me. I have used a 12 point chrome socket with an impact universal joint and and my impact wrench and have buzzed them right out, but for obvious reasons wear eye protection and get as far away as possible...
