Ok can anyone tell me what the differece between the heritage and the changes in the mid year 2004 f-150 trucks and how do you tell if it is the new body style?
I did not find this on the sticker and just wanted to know.

A Heritage is a 2004 model that looks identical to the 97-03 F-150 models. I've had some tongue waggers tell me that Ford needed to use up the remaining parts from inventory hence the continuation of the 97-03 body style in 2004. Most of us know that's bogus because everything is JIT

If you're trying to find out if an 04 F150 includes the mid-year production changes, just look for "JOB #2 ORDER" on the sticker. It should be listed under "Optional Equipment" as a no-cost option.
I did look on the sticker and there was no JOB #2 on it so I visited the dealer ship that evening..
It does have the new style body with the window relief in the doors and I noticed the front grill and hood are of the new style along with the front turn signals.
