i have a set of BF Goodies 33x16.5x12.50 Mud tires and I was wondering if they would fit on a set of 16.5x9.75 steel wheels. They have a load rating of 2200 lbs, this should be plenty for anything my old IDI can pull.
IF the tires say 12.50 width then they only need a 9.75 in rim right?
12.5 tires and 9.75 rims work perfectly together. i don't know about if the tires will fit on front tho. they might rub. i have the same setup on the back of my truck 33x12.5x16.5 on 16.5x9.75 rims the 10"rims will work fgood too. but don't buy the 12 wide rims, 33's bulge out at the rim and it looks really gay. backspace is important too. if you don't want toem to stick out real far and look like a chato-mobile, get the ones with a lot of backspacing. i got the black american racing rims at 65 each with 15 each for the hub cover and 2 dollars each for the big lugnuts. they really get you when you gotta buy 32 lugnuts at a buck or two a pop. the front lug nuts are a buck each.i got 2 rims, nuts, and hub covers for $208.11 out the door
Whats 4 3/4 backspacing look like? I got a Modular style wheel from US Wheel with 4 3/4 backspacing.
I already have front tires and they dont rub as long as my bumper is a couple inches ahead from being smashed by a deer.
it took me 3 days to figure that out. i had to put the picture of my truck in the PAINT program on my computer then i measured other peoples little picture thingy, then i went to stretch/skew and sized it down little by little till it was the same size as everyone elses. 50X50 pixles and saved it as "my truck", and then i went to my profile and theres a thingy that says "custom avatar" and i clicked where it says "use custom avatar, then i went down to where it says "browse" and i looked through the files there till i found it and clicked upload or whatever it says and it did it all for me.
