ok im going to there web site.
im looking at getting tires in the next 2 weeks.
im torn between the 295 vs the 315.
from 265(stock) to 295 what diff in fuel distanced should i expect from stock?
im guessing the 265 to 315 would be significant loss of mpg.
i think id be happy with the 295 but i dont want to regret it.
your gallery shows smaller 295 then larger 315 right?
pretty truck.
yes, i had 295's for 27k i think......now i have the 315's.
as for milage, went down so little i did not notice really...... i ASSume, stop n go it dropped, but highway sustained it increased....i do alot of highway driving.
now i do not have enough time with the 315's to have a good idea of milage, not to mention the speedo is so far off, im going to have to use a different meathod....if i fillerup on sunday, i can drive to work and back 3 times, and have 1/4 tank left wed night.... not very scientific, but it will work well enough.
The 295s are 33.27 inches tall and 11.73 inches wide
The 305s are 32.68 inches tall and 12.40 inches wide
So the 295s are taller, but the 305s are wider, so you would be better off going with the 295s, I got all my info off Nittos web-site, on the stock rimes you want tall and narrow, wich the 295s are better then the 305s, once again on the stock rimes I would go with the 285s, they look the best!
ok im leaning to the 295, cause of the stock wheel and mpg issues. my truck is leveled not lifted. i pull a gooseneck trailer and have a 4 month old and also have been sick so no lift in the future for this truck.
I have a goose-neck to, having a F-350 it's to tall to pull the trailer so I have to install shorter blocks, how does your'se look with the trailer behind it, is it level? I paid $125 per tire for my 295s, the 285s were even cheaper. If you really wanted to lift your truck there is a million used lift kits for sale, some even really cheap!
