I've got a 94, 3.0. Probably similar. Replaced mine a couple of years ago and only had a problem with the oil fill tube being in the way. Took it out and replaced it afterwards. The pivot bolt may require driving it out with a pin of some sort (maybe a long bolt slightly smaller than the pivot bolt). Remove the nut first. Then drive the bolt out. Yours is probably frozen in. Time will do that.

All you have to do is jack up the passenger side a little, take your ratchet and socket and reach in though the cutout in the fender well. remove bolt. No removing the filler tube, no driving the bolt out. Our vans do require some creative thinking to get jobs done don't they.

I agree with Bear but I had.Remove some small bolts to relocate the filler tube temp.
but the wheel well is correct..Make sure you have the car supported well the nut can be a monster to loosen.and well drop pow..
