Back in August I had a shop put in a new clutch kit because the throw-out bearing was squealing. Now, with only two months on the new clutch kit, the new throw-out bearing is squealing. Started a few days ago and gets worse the more I drive it. It stops squealing if I depress the clutch about an inch. Squeals with the clutch out, in neutral and in gear.
I am open to any and all suggestions on this one. What could cause a brand new bearing to do this?
Lack of or improper grease in the throwout bearing will cause this.
my new throwout bearing from checker auto seems a bit larger in gearth than my older one and it comes with a grease zerk on it.... It says to use white lithium grease.
