I beleive that the 02 came with a factory 3" pipe so anything over that would be an improvement.

I heard that it is possible to lose power with anything bigger or even just a 4" downpipe. My dad got B&B full exhaust, and AFE Stage 1 intake(he got it before stage 2 came out or I think he would have got that). The thing is, it all depends on your driving, the way he drives, the intake didnt make a huge difference, but he notices it, whereas that exhaust was a big improvement, and sounds pretty good too.

Anything is better than the factory down pipe.

I heard it is best to use a 3" downpipe and strait 4" the rest of the way.
