If you want to reupholster it, LMC Truck has a vinyl reupholstery kit for $130 and a velour reupholstery kit for $170. You might also want to look around for a reupholstery shop in your area.
Good Luck,
Just recovered my 61 f100 uni with a seat cover kit from Sacramento vintage ford (www.vintage-ford.com) and it installed perfectly. I have never done this before and had a small problem (too much padding). I called them and they had the company who made the covers (outsourced) call me. I was impressed to say the least with their service. Anyway, good luck. You can do this yourself no problem.

Do those companies also sell padding kits? The foam in my seat is disinegrating, and where it's not disinigrated, it's rock hard. The original stuff looks sprayed on, maybe?
This is embarassing but here goes. I went to the local upholstery shop and took a trip through their dumpster. In there I found couch cushions that they had thrown away and took the fabric off. The foam was thick and in good shape. I shaped it with a sharpened hacksaw blade, but next time will use a electric carving knife (2nd hand store). For the back I used carpet padding. Tried to use the foam, but it was too thick and padding is what I had. Use some sort of material to protect foam from springs. I used gunny sacks. Hog rings all around and turned out very nice. Good luck w/yoursPS Night time is always the best time to go dumpster diving, and if you are cold, an upholstery dumpster is a great place to warm up.
