Does your truck have a name?

I have noticed that a few of us refer to our trucks by a name.
I call my 56 "Roscoe". The name comes from an old joke with friends when talking about my "evil twin", or alter ego, etc. It just seemed appropriate to call my truck by the name because of how I feel about the project and how personal the work sometimes gets.
What did you name your truck.
Thought this thread might be fun...

Mine's whole name is the VooDoo Daisy. "Daisy" because I always stick with female names and because her original color is yellow. The VooDoo part is because I've had to practice a little to keep her running and keep the body on the frame! When she's done, she'll be a period hot rod w/some period kustom touches....and anything like that needs a kool vintage name!

Not sure if I will name my truck as I have my bike, but if I do it will likely be 'Stuart'. My younger brother middle name was Stuart and he was born in '60 like my truck. My way of thinking is that these were made to be tough, haulin' trucks so I thought a masculine name was in order.

My '59 shortbed stepside is "Babe, the Blue Ox." It's blue, of course, but not quite the same blue as when it left the factory. In fact, the color looks somewhat unreal, kind of like a caricature. A friend, upon seeing it for the first time, said, "That truck looks just like Babe, the Blue Ox." The instant he said it I realized that he was absolutely right. And what better name could it have here in the north woods of Minnesota?

When I was growing up we used to name the cattle we were raising but, I never named my truck. However, my '55 would probably like a name...any suggestions???

My 56 is named Roosevelt - because it's a" ruff rider".
Hope to fix that with the help from this board??

Hi
My 56 F100 doesn't have a name (other then the Money Pit per my wife ). My 54 Merc Car has "Low N Slow" painted on each quarter.

My 52 F3 is Rosebud. It is red, my name is Rose, and it is a reference to the dying words of Citizen Kane in that 1941 classic masterpiece.

Hey Twofast4U, If your truck lives up to your fte name, then why not call it Speedy?

I like DT56's Roosevelt name, but I'm thinking Teddy might be a more appropriate name for the 54. John

My wife refers to my 53 f-250 as old red. When it's done it will be red (the original color) so I guess I'll just stick with the name.
