I have a 1989 Eddie Bauer Edition

I have swapped in a 351w (carb'ed) c6 combo and I am wondering if I can keep the push button transfer case,

Does this case run off of the trucks EEC or is it a stand alone unit?

I believe it has it's own shift relay and is independent of the main ECM.

why didnt you keep the efi, its an easy change and wouldnt have required anything special.

I wreck my 84 that I had just rebuilt the motor (351w),I bought a 89 w/ a blown motor (302 efi)...just swapped in what I had

i see. you could have used your 89 efi harness on the 351w and go on ebay to locate the upper/lower intake and some other stuff.
