15x6 wheels
Hello, I have an 1986 F-150 4x2. I want to get new tires and rims but the truck has the origional size 15x6 wheels and tires. Can I put a bigger wheel and tire on it without any problems and if so how big do you think I can go without having to do any extra lift work. I was thinking of 24575R15's or 16's. I would also like to now if there is a site out there that has those nascar style rims, the black ones with either circles or triangles cutout. My truck is in running shape. I just got it going again this week after changing the fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, and a new alternator. I want to start working on getting the truck in good running order and then get it looking like a truck should look. It looks a little ragged for now and it runs like that as well. I want to put a new engine and drive train in it but do not know how, I don't even know where I should start. Any suggestions would be great. One more thing, how can I get ahold of an intermitant wiper. My truck does not have this option and it drives me nuts having to turn the switch on and off when it is misting! Thanks.

You'd probably be better off using a 15x7 rim. You can get a Summit catalog and they will have those Nascar style rims. They have 2 styles, with or without simulated bead locks. They range from $36 a piece to $90 a piece.
