shoulda left it alone

ok last weekend i pulled my upper intake off to fix an injector o-ring, and while i had things apart i decided to replace the throttle position sensor. aparantly i did that wrong. the idle is a little high, and the biggest problem i onlt have about half power. truck runs well at idle when i open up the throttle it hesiates, alot. and when im driving if i put the pedal on the floor it has what sounds to me like a backfire through the intake and seems to have a bit of a lean misfire. how do i calibrate the tps or whatever i have o do to make it work?

Check to see if it is adjustable, most replacements are. If I remember correctly when you hook a digital VOM to it, the output voltage at closed throttle should be 0. if not, adjust until it is.

You may still have a vaccum leak if the idle is too high, check your rubber hoses and around the intake.
