I have been searching the stores and the net for days and still cant find a sub woofer enclosure to fit behind the rear seat of my 2004 f350 crew cab.All the boxes I see are to large, some state they will fit but at 8" wide on the bottom I dont know how.I only measure around 6-1/2" at the bottom space behind the seat..Please help ....need some base
My box was custom made it's 32 wide 9 tall and 6 deep. it fits under the power rear window drive unit. there are some pictures in my gallery. "not good one's" but you can see it's placement etc.
if you don't have the power rear window a standard box with an 8" will fit. Remove the plastic box with the tire change kit. remove the seat bolts and slide the rear seat forward about 4 inches. Mount your box and amp. slide the seat back /your done. if you have the power rear window, your stuck! just make one to fit like I did. You will need a newer amp. one with a Hi Level input. The stock Ford head unit will burn up older amps with out an extra $40 box installed in line. In my pictures the Hi Level plug is on the bottom right side of the amp. two red and two black wires. small flat plug. looks like the plug for a computer cooling fan. (if that helps). other oprions, Bazooka tube. a 5 inch powered sub fill also fit. not as nice sounding but not bad. custom install is best BOOM for the Buck.

I am currently working on the installatioin of 4 Resonant Engineering 8"s in my '04 CC. I had the box built and was not satisfied with the fit so I routerd around where the cab vents go and put fiberglass over the wood for support. I am going to grind the bolt holes out enough to slide the seat forward .5" to give extra space for the subs. I will get some picures posted soon
Check out JL Audio They make a box called a stealth box.. I have one installed in my 04 king ranch in the center console.. It is 1 10 inch sub and sounds great..
Check out my gallery...custom box with 2 downfiring 8's. The box is 22" wide and doesn't interfere with the seat at all. I removed the POS jack tray and cut the back plastic carpet panel to accomodate fit. Very clean IMO
