Hey Folks, Dumb Question.
What Is This Contraption Under The Truck On The Rear Most Crossmember? It Appears To Have Fuel Lines And Wires Running To It. Am I Right? Is The The Fuel Pump?
I was wondering the same thing. I first saw it in the brochure and then when I got mine saw it, but never quit figured it out. It's definately not a fuel selector valve because none of the 04F150s have dual tanks
I Also First Noticed It In The Brochure But Figured I Find Out Once I Got It Home. Haven't Done Any Research Just This Post. Someone Knows What This Is.
I had a 2001 F150 SCREW before the 2004. I installed a tailgate lock actuator that ran off the drivers door lock switch and the key fob. Also I bought bigger tires on new rims and bought a 5th one for a spare and when I realized the new tire, because of the wide width was hanging down too low and rubbing on the ground when going off road I put it in the bed and removed the spare tire winch under the bed and both times never noticed anyting remotely similar to this thing on the new trucks. If I remember I will climb under on the weekend and see where those lines go. Wish me luck
oh sorry about that i was in the 87 to 96 and on the home page at the same time and i saw that on the home page as a recently viewed thread and when i opened it i automaticaly assumed it was in the 87 forums. sorry bout that. thats the only reason i asumed it was a fuel selector valve.
