I have the 17" rims and I wouldn't want 18" rims. Tires are too darn expensive. If I were going to switch, it would have to be for 16" rims because rubber would be less expensive. And has anyone noticed that more and more trucks are having vibration problems as the rims and tires keep getting bigger and bigger? I don't recall all these ride issues when the stock tire size on a half ton pickup was 235/75-15.

You my friend sound right on the money. I had put 20 inch rims and 275/45R20 goodyears on my 2000 f150 one time and it had the sidewall and appearance of a sportscar wheel but it rode like crap. Six months later sold those things and put good old 16 inch stock wheels back on. Bigger wheel thinner tires ride like a haywagon. I know one day 20 inch wheels will standard on everything and Dodge and Chevy is already sticking their foot in the door. Maybe it will get shut in the door.
