lift on 2wd
Having been there, done that I can't say it would be better to keep it the way it is, rather than put a lift on. I had a 2wd drive psd and sold it just to get a 4wd psd which sits higher. I also put a lift on my toyota t100, it looked better but drove like a dump truck, after 60 miles an hour it shook and vibrated, if you do get a lift for it, never buy a body lift. The only one that cares how high you are sitting your truck is yourself. After I purchased my 4wd psd it was nice when I first got it, but like everything else, it's no big deal after a while. You just get used to it. Just my opinion Jeff

Lift kits for two wheel drives are harder too find but they do make them . Try a web search , you'll come up with a lot of hits for lift kits . Or go down to your local four wheel drive store/shop . You could just buy 2" blocks for the rear and spacers that go UNDER the coil springs for the front . You may also need longer shocks and brake lines , and have the truck realigned . I have been toying with this idea too , sold my '86 SC DRW 4X4 and bought a '96 CC DRW 2X4 and I don't like setting so low !
