i was wondering about some ways to lift my front end.. i dont have the money to buy a whole lift kit and i figure i can make blocks to lift the rear in my welding class and i was wondering how i could lift my front end.. im only talkin like 2 or 3 inches.. 4 at the max.. cause im sure a custom lift wouldnt be that reliable.. im just doing it for looks.. i dont do much offroading.. if i could lift the front end about 3 inches i would be a happy kid. i already have a 3-inch body lift. so yeah.. if any of you know of any ways for lifting the font end, i would be happy if you told me. thanks.
Use washers welded together to gain some lift. Only 5/8" to help level the truck. I bought a lift kit for my truck, however I did contemplate taking a couple pieces of 3/4" plate, torching them round then punching a hole in the middle and welding them together to lift the front.
There's a couple things you must remember when lifting a Ranger. The stud and washer that hold the spring in place are only long enough to allow 2" of lift. If you go higher, you'll need new springs.
be prepared to drop a hundred dollars or so to have the front end aligned and set up after you lift it.
