I have yet to see a set of headers to fit the non-standard bolt pattern. I think some of the 16 bolt patterns use the normal vertical pattern spacing?? Not positive tho.
Not an expert on this but the 16 bolt heads were used to accomodate special headers/manifolds that would fit better in the Mustang/Cougar engine bays. Not all 16 bolt holes were used, just available for use when needed.
The sixteen bolt heads have the stagered pattern and a vertical pattern. You can use either the 8 staggered holes or the 8 vertical holes. Nobody uses all 16 holes. If memory serves, and it doesn't some times, the vertical holes are the same as the standard heads. Get a stock gasket and see if it fits.
Check with ford powertrain. www.fordpowertrain.com. The headers I got from them had all 16 holes.

what he said.. FPA can hook you up...Won't be cheap, but they will be very nice quality. There are 2 holes on each side that cannot be used because of the bend in the pipes, but all the others line up great. They seal great.
