Question Steering column R & R

Can anyone give me the procedure for removing and replacing the steering column in a '77 F-350? The threads are messed up on the steering wheel end of mine and I need to exchange it for another one. Thanks for any help!!

If the theads are just at the top us a drimal and cut off wheel and cut off the top. If the theads are were the nut goes cut the nut in to places and use cheisal and hammer and brake the nut into. Before you start this unhook the battery!!!

You have to unhook the steering couplers
The 4-5 bolts where it attaches to the firewall
The underdash mounting bolts

Trans ?
If automatic, remove the linkage from the column ( as you remove the couplers) as well

dont forget the end of the steering shaft and unplug the wiring harness, it's pretty easy. shouldnt take more than 20min to get the whole thing out.
