I'm still in shock. As a long time BoSox fan, I never thought I would see them come from a 3-0 deficit to win the ALCS. I could see them being the ones to lose it with a 3-0 advantage, but never come back from it I gotta admit, I did not watch much of the first three games, but for some reason watched all of games 4 and 5. I thought for sure that was where it would end. Even coming back to not get swept seemed like an accomplishment. I certainly never expected to watch them win two more
I just think its funny how its bad when someone gets hurt while rioting, but nobody ever looks at what the victim was doing before they got hurt. Usually it is self-inflicted.
I am just happy the yankees lost. I get pretty sick of sports teams buying chapionships oh well
> I just think its funny how its bad when someone gets hurt while rioting
The woman was not rioting, just an innocent by stander. No news report I have seen have said otherwise, just that she was amoung a group of people caught between a chain link fence, police, and rioters.
No way to follow the local Boston news, but, I do not think they have even arrested 1/2 the people that tipped over cars.
Yup, congrats to Boston...but it ll be still 1918 haha of course I m a yankees fan
GUess Yankees fans are more mature and know how to party and have good time than boston fan (they re an animals) and caused too many problem already in boston..geez...
I definitely am not much of a Red Sox fan (even though I live 20 minutes from boston)....and i am definitely not trying to make an argument here...but...YOMAN...what about the batteries and other dangeriously flying objects thrown by NY people at Boston people last year? I think it was your fans who were throwing batteries (like D cell batteries!) at Boston people (I think at our fans...) injuring many people. Flipping a NY car over in Boston is not as bad as throwing batteries at people. Property damage is bad...but it's not as bad as personal injury resulting from another person's intent.
Both sides, NY and Boston, have acted immature and stupid over the years. I think it's funny how we tell the NY yankees they stink (can't say the real word) but they've beaten us several times. I personally would not say NY stinks until we beat them and won the world series MORE times than NY did. It appears we have a long way to go until that happens. It doesn't matter why...at the end of the day the yankees are still a better team over the years. Us Boston folks are just a little fustrated and didn't want to take our fustrations out on our sox. I don't speak for all, but maybe we know the yankees are better (we have reasons to explain why, like $$ and the curse) but we don't like to admit it.
