1996 Explorer Code P0101 & P0103

1996 Explorer Code P0101 & P0103
I have a 1996 Explorer that has the following codes P0101 and P0103. I first replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor thinking that was the problem. Disconnected the battery the check engine light went out drove it about 10 or so miles and the check engine light came back on. I ran the codes again same codes - cleaned all the connections for the MAF sensor - replaced the Air Temp Sensor - disconnected the battery (reset the code) and again the check engine light came on again. What else could be wrong with this piece of junk.

Try running the engine with the MAF disconnected. This simulates a "too low" condition. You should now get codes 101 and 102. If you don't, there is a wiring problem to the MAF sensor.
You may have to do this in Autozone's parking lot, if that is how you are pulling the codes.
