aight i already have a 2.5 leveling kit on my truck and and add a leaf in the rear. i was wondering can you put an add a leaf in the front? is that safe? is there anything i need to watch out for? and also i was thinking about putting a 2' block in the rear and i think if im able to do this i can squeeze some 37's in there on the factory wheels. i dunno if this will work i was just thinking about it earlier. the leveling kit now gave me 3 inches of lift in the front. any replies are greatly appreciated. thanks
yes it is safe and is ok to add a leaf to your front pack....i just removed a leaf from my front packs actually to get a better ride and more flex!
i don't recommend adding a 2" block but if all your going to do is squeeze a set of 37's in then go ahead! and it really isn't all that horrible to stack the blocks if you mall crawl....just keep an eye on your u-bolts and keep them tight, also don't forget about the blocks and don't try to do any burnouts or anything really stupid as it may result in spitting the blocks out.
my trucks an 03 7.3l extended cab short bed. i dont do to much hauling, just the motocycle trailer and the sea doo's. i drive it everyday to and from school and around town. i also am an avid hunter so im off the paved roads alot. some of the roads at the hunting club and pretty trashed with some moderate ruts and mud wholes. every once in awhile ill take it to some powerline trails with my buddys and run it through the mud but nothing to extreme. i dont do tight trails with the truck, fearful of messing up the nice paint, so i guess that eliminates the whole flexing issue. i hope will be some help to you. thanks for all your help.
aight i took a look at your gallery and how difficult is it to do this? is it something that i can do on my own? also is it really time comsuming? i guess pretty much if you could give me a complete run down of what this would involve, and the whole deal, i would greatly appreciate it. also do you think that the rear end will be to high with me only doin a 1 inch add a leaf in the front? thank yall for helping me out!
