Encountered a problem today...

Problem: Truck quit running today after hitting a bump.
Summary:
-Pulled off air hose from filter to TB, no fuel from fuel line.
-Reset Inertia Switch numerous times, no good.
-Used test light to determine if power was being supplied to in-line HP Fuel Pump, no light.
-I can hear in-tank rear fuel pump working properly.
-Checked all fuses on inside driver's kick panel, all good.
If there are any fusable links I do not know about or one of you guys have had this problem before, please respond and tell me where I've gone wrong. I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the inertia switch the wire splits and one runs to the LP pump and one runs to the HP pump. Since you have power at the LP pump you must have a break in the wire between were it splits and the HP pump.

Thumbs up

First, I want to thank everyone that tried to help me out. I found the problem. Ken, I tried to bypass the Inertia Switch but it was no good. I figured it was a problem in the Fuel Pump Relay or a fuse/fusable link. After 2 hrs with a multi-meter, I dicovered that it was related to a fuse, but not where I thought. There is a ground wire with a fuse in it and as it turned out it had come loose from the neg battery terminal. It was a free fix!!! Woooo Hoooooo!!! Thanks again guys...

That wire is the ground for the computer. I think that is a quick connector and not a fuse holder as well. Glad ya got it going.

I think you're right about it being a quick connect. All I knew was I had continuity, hooked it up and fired away. Thanks again guys.
