1-love my f250 w/ the 7.3. 137 k miles 4x4
just a couple of annoying things, ,,,,
power steering fluid all around the mastor cylinder, around the power steering res and the worst on the fire wall that has gotten in the cab area and on the carpet, cannot really find a wet leaky spot at all on any of the hoses or fittings, the res is always low.
2-the fluid may also have gotten to the door close sensor, as the door ajair light is on more than not.
In a case like this, when oil is everywhere to begin with, the only way your going to locate the leak is to clean up all the old oil first! Just give the affected area a good coat of Gunk, and then hose it off after an hour. A do-it-yourself car wash is great for this, just make sure you don't get H2O where it shouldn't be!
After all is clean and dry, it should be obvious where the leak is coming from.

Hopefully it's only your high pressure line. In all makes and models of vehicles I have seen that is the most likely suspect. They only leak when the steering is fully to the end of travel and the pressure spikes in the system. Have a partner turn the steering wheel fully to the lock, left or right. (PUT ON SOME SAFETY GLASSES! If aimed right that leak will squirt 30 feet.) When you have the steering locked to the side, start looking. You may have to clean it up before you can see anything, and then clean it up again when you are done.
If that's not it then I suspect the brake booster. They run on hydraulic pressure on the 99 up.
