Weird Tranny issues!
2001 Excursion 7.3PS. Sometimes when I put it in R it'll die, or lug badly and die. Almost like letting out a clutch too quickly without giving it gas. Only in R. Doesn't do it all the time. Also sometimes, not all the time, it will not engage R or any forward gears when you first start it and move the shifter. If you put it back in P for a second then back to R or a forward gear it will engage and move the vehicle. I have changed the fluid and filter which the fluid looked fine with no improvements. Weird thing is sometimes it'll go a week or two without messing up once. Thanks for any input!
