2000 Psd Milage
I need a little help. I have a 2000 powerstroke. Im getting around 16mpg empty. but when I pull my toyhauler I'm getting around 8mpg. My trailer is a 21ft. desert fox toy hauler, and this is with no toys in it the trailer wieghs about 6000lbs.
It just seems to me that I should be getting better fuel mileage than that.
Am I wrong or does that sound about right.

I've had anywhere from 10-12 depending on what size I'm pulling and how hard I'm pushing it. Depending on wind conditions, how high the trailer sticks above the truck, and fuel conditions, I'd say your close...it could be a little higher, but not off the scale by any means.
