door lock acutuator
somone posted instructions on the easiest way to replace the door lock accuators but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me how to search for a particular subject matter on this site?

The search method is MIA. But I have a 99 and have changed out all 4 actuators. The easiest way I found to do this is to break the acutator with a long screw driver or I used a 1/2 drive 24inch extension. There is a plastic retaining holder on the actutator. Its almost impossible to get your hands in there and push it in and pull it out. SO I just snapped the actuator off the retaining (metal) holder and just removed it. You will have to remove the plastic piece that is left behind but its much easier with the rest of the actutor out of the way. Installing the unit takes about 20 seconds. If you have a older model Im not sure if there the same acutuator or not.
