Question Fuel Stabilizer

I'm fixin' to put my truck in storage for the winter and would like to stabilize the fuel properly. I heard that the Power Service Diesel Kleen has an anti-microbial in it. Are there other products that work, or work better? What about the Power Service Diesel Fuel Supplement with Cetane Boost? What's the difference between these products?

Any comments are appreciated.

Powerservice is the company that makes Diesel Kleen poducts. The stuff for improved cetane(gray bottle) and the stuff with anti-gelling(white) is the stuff readily available at WallyWorld as well as other places. These don't have any antimicrobial action. They do make a biocide supplement, but I think it's more for industrial sized tanks. Look at the powerservice web site. I do run the gray bottle every tank and the white in the winter. I don't work for them, have stock, etc. I just like reading up on what I'm putting in my toy!

If you're anywhere near one of the Great Lakes, try one of the larger marinas. All of the boats get winterized (unless you're like I was and live on it all winter on Lake Michigan), and the marinas almost always have diesel biocide.
